This is a show about the brand new RattleHead website. A gigantic overhaul that required hundreds of hours of programming by rotating gangs of geek slaves. I'll give a little tour. There's so many new things, and this is only the beginning! A lot of the changes to the site are simply to lay foundations for the processing of ungodly large amounts of audio that will be forthcoming. gigdates.com is now online, props to Uncle Mantis! After a bit of a Hiatus, the Chief Ferret returns to the airwaves!
There'snot really a lot of Christmas in this episode, sorry to say... despitethe title. What I will give you, though, is the current status ofRattleHead head projects, confirm some rumours and deny others.
Thisepisode should be a lot of fun... I have an audio-clip intensebroadcast planned, with some interesting bits from a recent interviewwith Kurt Loder from MTV about this brave new digital music age. We'llget into why you should keep politics outof your performances, and I'll even shatter a myth about Bob Dylan.Then there's some news, the RattleHead voicemail I promised... and I'llleave you with something to think about: your artistic integrity. Whatcould be more important?
