For three years, American troops have been engaged in a brutal conflict half a world away... while at the same time, 67 percent of students 18-25 cannot find Iraq on a map. We've been deluged by opinions and predictions from all manner of media and politician... while at the same time, we completely ignore the stories of people who were actually there.
Those of you that have been fans of RattleHead and DownCitySignal, know that we're big fans of raw tape and open mics. We consider this merely an extension of this philosophy, stories from people who were actually there, in their own words. And the fact that they're local musicians, only makes it closer to home. We'll have Matt from Mastamindz and Erik from 10Fold, some of their friends, some live calls to other musician/soldiers... and a lot of detailed information of what its really like over there.
So listen, learn, think, and decide for yourself! Don't just believe the hype.
